The tv series was all about agent 86, Maxwell Smart Portrayed by Don Adams worked for CONTROL which is a secret spy agency of U.S. Government headed by the Chief played by Edward Platt . With his partner Agent 99 Portrayed by Barbara Feldon, who helped to save the day with her competence and Smart luck. Together with other agents namely Hymie a powerful robot, Agent 13 played by Dave Kethum, Agent 44 played by Victor French, and Agent Larrabee played by Robert Karvelas and many others to save the threat of the nation.
The comedy series aired on September 18, 1965 up to September 11, 1970 , It has a total number of 138 tv episodes , you can watch the tv episodes on dvd,Get Smart DVD, compiled to enjoy the shows.

Another great series revolved in a detective/agent adventures as what usual action series centered way back

Based on what I've read the most recognizable 'gag' from the show was Smart's shoe phone, which has become somewhat of a comic icon: Smart would communicate with CONTROL using a rotary-dialed telephone concealed in his shoe, similar to a modern cell phone....

I think this is the tv series that had a remake. They said that Anne Hathaway will participate in the movie, her role was the partner of Agent 86. Can't wait to see that one.
