Ben Savage portrayed by Cory Matthews who struggles in high school and was usually encounter trouble. He was joined by his best friend named Shawn Hunter played by Rider Strong who was a rebel and has a problem with his family. At high school, the ever-present and wise Principal George Feeny portrayed by William Daniels continues to make Cory's and Shawn's lives more challenging. Feeny, who still lives next door to the Matthews, has a unique way of always seeming to know what unpredictable antics the young men are up to.
